J.W. Dant Bourbon – Lime Juice – Old Jamaica Ginger Beer
When it comes to keeping it simple, in mixing a drink or writing a song, then Mr Detroit himself knows best; 3 components is all you really need;
“Songwriting is storytelling, melody, and rhythm; three components. If you break it down but you keep the three components, then you have what songwriting really is, without excess and over thinking.”
Mint Julep – £7.00
Eagle Rare Single barrel 10YO- Fresh, home grown mint – Sugar – Soda to taste
A true Kentucky classic for drinking on those hot, humid days we get so often in the little backwater county of Holmfirth. The price quoted above is for the 10 year old single barrel Eagle Rare, but if you want a REAL treat then we suggest the Rock Hill Farms at £12.
Blood and Sand – £6.00
Highland Park 12YO- Cherry Heering – Orange Juice – Aperol
The ONLY way to drink Scotch in a cocktail; named after the 1922 Rudolph Valentino movie about Bullfighting, this drink is a genuine classic. We recommend the Highland Park 12YO as the malt but if you like a touch of smoke to balance the sweetness, then Caol Ila is great.
Whiskey Sangria – £6.00 glass
